Additional benefits include:

  • Broad-spectrum antimicrobial — bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores
  • Penetrates biofilms that harbor Listeria, Salmonella, and E. coli
  • Effective at refrigerated and cold-storage temperatures where chlorine and quats lose potency
  • Breaks down to acetic acid (vinegar) and water — no toxic residues

Qualifications:

  • EPA-registered for food-contact surfaces
  • No potable-water rinse at approved concentrations
  • Stocked and distributed by Southland Organics

Alpet PAA 5.6% is a 5.6% peracetic acid concentrate. PAA oxidizes cell membranes on contact and decomposes to acetic acid and water — no persistent quat or chlorine residue.
